The last concert for my stay in Asia, this time, is a very special one to me.
The Sweet Sisters Café was the first place that welcomed me with open arms when I arrived on Koh Samui.
It is a meeting point for all sorts of creative people from artists, writers and musicians to experts on flesh eating plants.
Noiy who runs the place with her family puts a lot of creativity and love in her recipes that are constantly finding new additions, though my favorite combination there is the house made chocolate fudge cake with a glass of surprisingly good red wine
Appart from the great venue I have the privilege to play that evening with Bobby Parrs, a fantastic musician from the States that has been living on Koh Samui for many years.
Hope to see you there 😉
“Join us for a Saturday night on March 1 for a live music event with Bobby Parrs and Pablo J.
Cool sounds from 7pm….
Bobby has lived on Samui for some years and some of you have heard him play.
Bobby has performed with Bonnie Raitt, Willie Nelson, John Martyn, Grammy winner Narada Michael Walden, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Michael Hedges and with members the Grateful Dead and Santana.
Pablo is a young musician from Vienna who has spent the last 6 weeks recording a new album here. Pablo loves Sweet Sisters and offered this as a gift to us – so we are happy to share this with you…
We guarantee there will be sweet sounds, sweet food and a nice vibe with friends.
We will make a donation to BBB fund from the proceeds and we’ll also pass the donation box around on the evening if you want to support this great little fund that educates poor children in Thailand.
We aren’t doing a special buffet – so please book a table by phone 0864708631 if you want to be sure of a place to sit and eat – or just come by and take your chances.”
